Living River Organic Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from the natural and organic environment of the Riverland.
The story behind the name
Coming from the Grigoriou family’s own certified organic vineyards in the Riverland this Organic wine is produced with love and care while having a strong focus on sustainability for the environment.
We humbly acknowledge the traditional owners of the land which our grapes are grown, the Erawirung tribe and their elders for the past and present.
An abundance of ripe blackcurrant and black olive flavours initially persist on the tongue with hints of earthy and cigar box characters coming through to the end of the palate. A wine of
superb complexity and finesse and a great accompaniment to gamey dishes, BBQ steak or hearty stews.
The growing season delivered a cool ripening season with some warm periods prior to harvest, thus retaining natural acidity, yet developing rich flavours consistent with our Cabernet Sauvignon style. 100% of the grapes used in the production of this wine were from Certified Organic Vineyards, guaranteeing the pristine nature of the fruit.
Our winery is an N.O.P Certified Organic Winemaker and bottler. This ensures the quality control process and organic status of the fruit and wine is maintained from the vineyard to the
bottle. The fruit quality was exceptional and extended fermentation on skins has produced a wine of great colour and depth of flavour with fine tannins. Oak maturation has further added
another dimension giving the wine the strength required for some bottle maturation.
