Chris Grigoriou

Managing Director

Chris is responsible for the overall activities, profitability, and direction of the business. He has worked in the wine industry for more than 40 years, and was appointed General Manager of the family winery in 1987 after studying accountancy. Prior to this position, he wore the title of Administration Manager.

He then joined a Monash winery as General Manager from 1987 to 2001, before moving on to a Loxton-based Winery in the same position until 2013. Back in 1992, he and wife Teresa purchased their first 25-acre vineyard which has since expanded to five vineyards—totalling over 100 acres of organic vineyards, with an annual crush of over 1,500 tonnes of organic grapes. In 2014, he founded a Barossa based bottling company which he sold in 2016. He’s since founded a much larger and more efficient bottling company call South Australian Wine Bottlers (SAWB), which is located on Port Road, Beverly. SAWB is solely owned by the family wine company, Portia Valley Wines Pty Ltd.


Teresa Grigoriou

Chief Financial Officer

Teresa is responsible for the administration and accounts at Portia Valley Wines and South Australia Wine bottlers. She is highly experienced in her role, with 40 years of office and administration management experience.

Teresa previously worked as a direct assistant to high-profile commercial property investors, which gave her the skills necessary to assist in the founding of Barossa Bottling and Trading Company with husband Chris. Teresa also played a role in the establishment of Portia Valley Wines to carry on her husband’s family tradition.


Arnna Grigoriou

Operations & Export Manager

Arnna is responsible for the daily operations and export functions in the company.  She manages all aspects of production planning, scheduling, overseeing purchasing and production, export documentation as well as coordinating both domestic dispatches and onsite container packing.

In 2014, Arnna helped Chris setup a bottling company in the Barossa where she worked for 3 years before the family sold the company and started South Australian Wine Bottlers.


Kayla Grigoriou

Marketing & Distiller

Kayla is responsible for social media, local sales of spirits & wine, and distilling for the PVW distillery. Kayla also works in hospitality, managing bars and restaurants around Adelaide. Kayla holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practitioners, as well as Honours for a Bachelor of Laws and Arts (Adelaide University).


Con Greg Grigoriou

Organic Production & Sales Manager


Con-Greg is responsible for managing the annual harvest of grapes from the family owned and contracted vineyards in the Riverland, and sale of the organics wines. Having grown up in the wine industry and on the family’s organic vineyard, Con-Greg has an intimate understanding of the Riverland wine industry, with a particular focus on organic wines sales.

After completing a business degree and working in various roles in sales, advertising, marketing and logistics, Con-Greg joined the family business in 2016. Since then, Portia Valley Wines organic crush has increased from 300 tonnes to 1,500 tonnes, with annual sales of over $1.25 million. Con-Greg also owns and operates his own premium wine brand, which is sold throughout Australia and exported to 14 countries.


Frank Andreucci

Executive Assistant

Frank is a part of the export management team and is responsible for the daily export functions.  He also manages all aspects of the sales process from the Bottling Agreement Form and export documentation, through to container dispatching and providing weekly and monthly reports.

With over 40 years experience in the customer service sector Frank strives to exceed our customers expectations.


Julian Midwinter


Julian is responsible for wine blending and quality control, as well as running our boutique distillery.  Julian is a qualified winemaker with over 20 years experience in the industry. Prior to joining PVW, he worked for a number of well-established wineries including Schild Estate, Growers Wine Group, Vinpac International, Richmond Grove, Bottling Dynamics and Kirrihill Wines.

Julian is a graduate of Waite Institute and holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science with Honours (University of Adelaide).


Todd Newman

Bottling Manager

Todd is responsible for the day to day running of Portia Valley Wines’ bottling hall. His dedication, experience and knowledge ensures product quality at all times. He also ensures that bottling is operated according to Standard Operating Procedures, specific Production Work Orders, and our HACCP and Organic Certifications.

Todd conducts all routine maintenance checks on our state of the art bottling equipment to maintain efficiency; minimizing the cost of bottling to our customers. Todd is passionate about providing great service to our customers and enjoys building relationships. He also has an extensive understanding of our customer’s bottling requirements.


Kat Hartwig

Production Assistant

Kat is responsible for ordering and picking all the dry goods for bottling hall, and she also carries out some administration duties. She joined the Portia Valley Wines team in 2016 and prior to this, worked for CCL Label Wine and Spirits in Nuriootpa as Finishing and Dispatch Manager.  Kat has over 13 years’ experience in the label industry.

Diandra Brown


Diandra is the first point of contact at Portia Valley Wines. She manages the front desk on a daily basis and performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Diandra started a Traineeship Program with PVW which allowed her to study at Tafe SA and holds a Certificate III in Business Administrative.

She has a real passion for fashion designing and prior to joining the PVW team Diandra studied at Flinders University and Tafe SA and received a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Fashion) and Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology. With her creative background she takes care of creating and design weekly newsletters for our loyal wine club members as well as taking part in creating content on our social media platforms.


Henry Xiao

China Brand Marketing

Henry supports our clients throughout China and South East Asia. He has over 10 years experience in sales and 5 years experience in consulting, market research and analysis within the FMCG Industry.


Kori Burgoyne

Warehouse Manager

Kori is part of our warehouse management and production team. He has over 20 years’ experience in forklift driving and is incredibly reliable when it comes to packing containers. Kori does the Portia Valley Wines brand justice by following stringent OH&S guidelines to ensure clients receive their selected stock in perfect form. Kori Packs containers to ensure the finished product’s get to your final destination anywhere in the world as it left the Portia Valley warehouse.
